Perfection

When one of my best friends announced that she was pregnant I knew that I needed to plan a couple of trips back home to Essex to coincide with her due date. I arranged two visits, two weeks apart. Little baby E made an appearance 10 days after her due date and right in the middle of my two visits! She was definitely worth the wait. I'm smitten. There's nothing quite like a cuddle with a very tiny newborn baby. I took a lot of photos, she is just so beautiful. It's amazing to see how much she changed over the two weeks that I was in Essex. Here she is at 11 days old.

A year ago today...

...I was at Wembley Stadium watching Take That's The Circus Tour with my lovely friends. An absolutely amazing show, I don't know how they can possibly improve on it with their next concert.

Seaside

You can't beat a trip to the seaside, especially when the sun is shining. Hasn't it been a beautiful couple of weeks weather wise... i'm loving it! Clacton is a typically British seaside resort, it has a lovely pier with a helter skelter on it, amusements, a nice beach and some good shops.

Summer is on its way

I'm once again behind on blogging, I took these photographs a couple of weeks ago. I feel very fortunate because these fields are just a five minute walk from where I live. You can't beat a blue sky with fluffy white clouds against the yellow of rapeseed flowers. It feels like summer is finally on its way!

First Birthday

A few weeks ago I spent the morning with this little lady on her first birthday. She's such a happy, smiley little girl. She was determined to get hold of my camera, I think she was curious as to what the big black thing was that I kept on pointing in her direction.
