Yorkshire
13 May 2009
I spent a lovely few days in Yorkshire last week, and took a few photos!
The first thing we had to see with my Dad was a steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. It was actually a special week on the railway and this train, Tornado, does not normally run on this line.
Mum and I then found a gorgous pathway with wild garlic growing everywhere. I was very pleased because I haven't managed to find bluebells in a wood so garlic made up for that!
This is totally out of focus (deliberately!!!) I really like the effect :)
Bridlington is somewhere I remember from holidays when I was younger. Here is a view of the harbour where we had lovely chips for lunch!
We walked from Bridlington up to Sewerby
On Sunday Mum and I went to York for some retail therapy - it has such a good shopping centre! I can see myself spending a lot of time here lol. It's a lovely mix of oldy worldy buildings like here at the Shambles, and modern shops.
I only took my 50 mm lens with me and I couldn't get the whole Minster in!
Pretty Yorkshire scenery
I love lambs so had to get a couple of photos before driving home
